First seen Jan 30, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looks at different combinations of two sedative medicines, propofol and dexmedetomidine, to find the best way to sedate children aged 1 to 12 for MRI scans. The goal is to use less propofol, which may have risks, while keeping children comfortable and not slowing their recovery. About 105 children will take part to help improve sedation practices.
