Brain scans hunt hidden cancer before symptoms strike

NCT ID NCT06247449

Summary

This study aims to find out how often breast cancer spreads to the brain without causing symptoms in patients with aggressive forms of the disease. Researchers will use MRI brain scans, blood tests, and questionnaires with 100 participants who have specific types of stage IIb or III breast cancer. The goal is to understand if regular screening can catch brain metastases earlier and learn how patients feel about this type of testing.
