Heart device patients may get safer, faster access to MRI scans

NCT ID NCT02888353

Summary

This study aims to see if MRI scans can be done safely for all patients with pacemakers or defibrillators, without needing lengthy and restrictive pre-screening checks. It will include 1,700 participants who have one of these devices and a medical need for an MRI. The goal is to simplify the process so more patients can get necessary scans quickly and without unnecessary delays.
