Scientists test MRI reliability for tracking brain tumors

NCT ID NCT06648473

Summary

This study aimed to see how consistently MRI scans could measure changes in a specific type of slow-growing brain tumor (low-grade glioma) in patients taking the drug ivosidenib. It planned to enroll 40 adults who were already scheduled for a routine MRI as part of their care. The goal was to create a reliable dataset to help improve future software for tracking tumor size, but the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
