MRI scans could warn cancer patients of bone damage before it happens

NCT ID NCT04265430

Summary

This study aims to see if regular MRI scans after radiation treatment can predict bone damage in patients with head or neck cancers. Researchers will follow 425 patients, taking MRI scans at specific times after treatment to look for early signs of tissue changes. The goal is to identify patients at risk for serious bone complications before they develop, allowing for earlier intervention.
