Heart scan could warn of dangerous Post-Surgery rhythm problems

NCT ID NCT04657835

Summary

This study aims to see if a detailed heart MRI scan can predict which patients will develop a dangerous irregular heartbeat after bypass surgery. Researchers will enroll 100 patients and use a tiny implanted monitor to track their heart rhythm for a full year after their operation. The goal is to better understand who is at risk so doctors can provide closer monitoring or preventive care.
