New brain-zap therapy for teen depression tested in pilot trial

Summary
This study tests a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called rTMS, guided by MRI, to treat depression in 45 teenagers aged 12-18. Participants must have major depressive disorder and be on stable medication. The goal is to see if the treatment is safe, acceptable, and helps reduce depression and anxiety symptoms. Results will help design larger future studies.
