New imaging technique could sharpen precision of pediatric brain cancer treatment
NCT ID NCT04908709
Summary
This study is testing a special type of MRI scan to see if it can help doctors better target proton beam radiation therapy for children with aggressive brain tumors. The scan looks at the tumor's chemical activity without needing an injection. Researchers want to see if this detailed metabolic map can help guide treatment more precisely and predict how the tumor responds.
