Brain zaps for teen blues: new study tests magnetic therapy
NCT ID NCT07185438
Summary
This pilot study is testing whether a non-invasive brain stimulation therapy, guided by MRI scans, can help reduce depression symptoms in teenagers. Researchers will compare a new, personalized stimulation target to a standard target and a placebo treatment in 45 adolescents with depression. The goal is to see if this approach is safe, acceptable, and shows early signs of helping with mood, anxiety, sleep, and quality of life.
