Brain scan dye study seeks to improve MRI accuracy

NCT ID NCT04906941

Summary

This study aimed to understand how a common MRI contrast dye called gadolinium affects specialized brain scan measurements. Researchers enrolled 73 adults with inflammatory brain conditions who were already scheduled for MRI scans with this dye. Participants underwent MRI scans before and after receiving the dye to compare measurements, helping researchers learn how to make these scans more accurate.
