New scan could spot hidden kidney damage earlier
NCT ID NCT06407375
Summary
This study tested whether a special type of MRI scan could be a better tool for checking kidney function in people with metabolic syndrome. It compared scan results from 46 people with metabolic syndrome to those from healthy individuals. The goal was to see if this scan could detect early signs of kidney problems that current blood and urine tests might miss.
