MRI scans could help doctors choose the right heart treatment

NCT ID NCT02728336

Summary

This study aims to see if MRI scans can help doctors better predict which heart failure patients will benefit from a special pacemaker therapy called CRT. Researchers will use MRI data and computer models to understand why some patients respond well to this treatment while others don't. The goal is to improve patient selection for this therapy, potentially avoiding unnecessary procedures for those unlikely to benefit.
