New scan and blood test aim to spot brain tumor return sooner

NCT ID NCT07447531

Summary

This study is testing whether a special type of MRI scan and a blood test can help doctors better predict how an aggressive brain tumor (glioblastoma) might change or return after treatment. Researchers will enroll 15 adults with a new diagnosis to see if these tools can spot signs of tumor progression earlier than current methods. The goal is to gather knowledge that could improve future monitoring, not to provide a new treatment.
