New brain scan could sharpen the map for epilepsy surgeons
NCT ID NCT07316972
Summary
This study aims to test a new type of MRI scan to see if it can better pinpoint the exact area of the brain where seizures start in people with drug-resistant epilepsy. Researchers will scan 20 patients who are being evaluated for possible surgery to remove this seizure-causing brain tissue. The goal is to see if this new scan provides clearer information to help surgeons plan safer and more effective operations.
