First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This phase 3 study tests a targeted drug called almonertinib in people with a specific type of advanced lung cancer (EGFR-mutant, stage III) that cannot be removed by surgery. After initial treatment, doctors use a sensitive blood test (MRD) to decide if more treatment is needed. The goal is to see if this approach can control the cancer longer and with fewer side effects. About 192 adults aged 18-70 are participating.
