New MRI technique could revolutionize prostate cancer detection and monitoring

Summary
This study is testing a special MRI scan that uses a substance called hyperpolarized pyruvate to make prostate cancer cells light up. The goal is to see if this scan can better detect advanced prostate cancer and show how well treatment is working. About 75 people with advanced prostate cancer will take part to help improve cancer imaging.
