Summary
This study tests a new type of MRI that uses a special substance (hyperpolarized pyruvate) to see how active prostate cancer tumors are. Researchers want to know if this scan can find aggressive cancers and show if treatments are working or stopping sooner than standard scans. About 75 adults with advanced prostate cancer will get this extra MRI to help improve future cancer care.
