Summary
This study looks at whether a routine blood test called mean platelet volume (MPV) can help predict acute coronary syndrome (heart attack or unstable angina) in people with metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD). Researchers will compare MPV levels between 60 adults: those with both MASLD and a recent heart event, and those with MASLD alone. The goal is to see if MPV is a useful early warning sign.
