Scientists test drug combo on devastating nerve tumors
NCT ID NCT06693284
Summary
This is a small, early study to learn how a rare and aggressive nerve tumor responds to a short course of two oral drugs. The study involves 8 people, aged 12 and older with Neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) and a specific type of tumor. Patients take the drugs for 28 days before starting their standard cancer treatment, so researchers can see if the drugs cause changes in the tumor.
