Scientists hunt for immune cells that could lead to new MPN therapies

NCT ID NCT07590986

First seen May 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at how the immune system reacts to myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN), a group of blood cancers. Researchers will collect blood and bone marrow samples from 150 adults with or without MPN to find special immune cells (T cells) that recognize and attack MPN cells. The goal is to identify targets and receptors that could be used to design future immune-based treatments. Participants will not receive direct medical benefit, but their samples will help advance MPN research.
