Kidney cancer patients may get a break from treatment with targeted therapy

Summary
This study tests whether giving focused radiation or surgery to all remaining cancer spots can allow kidney cancer patients to stop their regular treatment for at least a year. It involves 23 adults with metastatic clear cell kidney cancer who have already had stable or improved disease after at least 6 months of immunotherapy. The goal is to see if this approach can delay the need for more cancer therapy.
