Custom care during surgery aims to protect Kids' brains

NCT ID NCT07304947

Summary

This study is testing if a personalized approach to managing fluids and blood pressure during brain surgery leads to fewer temporary stroke-like episodes in children with Moyamoya disease. About 94 children having a specific brain bypass surgery will be randomly assigned to receive either the new personalized care or standard care. The main goal is to see if the new method reduces brain complications after surgery.
