Can a simple screen make your workout work better? study tests tech for aging muscles

NCT ID NCT06853275

Summary

This study is testing if showing older adults with age-related muscle loss the speed of their leg exercises in real-time helps them perform better and feel more motivated than just doing the exercises without that feedback. Researchers will compare two groups over three weekly sessions to see if the speed display reduces fatigue, improves muscle activation, and changes how hard the workout feels. The goal is to find better ways for physical therapists to help older adults get the most benefit from strength training.
