First seen Apr 15, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a mouthwash containing chlorhexidine and hyaluronic acid helps gums heal better after wisdom tooth surgery. 54 healthy adults who needed a wisdom tooth removed used the mouthwash. Researchers checked their gum healing using a special scoring system. The goal was to see if the mouthwash improves wound healing compared to standard care.
