Could gargling this mouthwash keep colds away?
NCT ID NCT06479226
Summary
This study tested whether using a mouthwash containing cetylpyridinium chloride and zinc after brushing could reduce the occurrence of cold and flu symptoms. 150 healthy adults were randomly assigned to either use the mouthwash twice daily or just brush their teeth normally for 90 days. Researchers tracked participants' symptoms to see if the mouthwash group had fewer sick days.
