New mousse could speed up healing after tooth extraction
NCT ID NCT07555366
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study compares a new mousse (microRepair ABX) to a standard mouthwash for healing after tooth extraction. About 30 adults who need a tooth pulled will use one of the two treatments. Researchers will check pain, swelling, and healing at 1, 7, and 15 days after surgery to see which works better.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
microRepair ABX Mousse (topical mousse with microparticles and antibacterial complex)
What this could lead to
If it works, this could offer a more comfortable and effective way to heal after tooth extraction, reducing pain and infection risk.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage trial with only 30 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The mousse might not work better than the standard mouthwash.
