First seen Dec 19, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study looked at how people with Parkinson's disease learn and remember fine motor tasks, like writing. Researchers compared simple practice versus practice combined with a second task (dual-tasking) to see which method leads to better long-term retention. Using brain scans and behavioral tests, the goal was to understand which learning approach works best and why, to improve future rehabilitation therapies.
