First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tests whether motor imagery training—mentally practicing movements without actually moving—can reduce fear of movement (kinesiophobia) and improve walking and balance in people with Parkinson's disease. Researchers will enroll 50 adults aged 40-75 with mild to moderate Parkinson's. Participants will practice imagining movements and their progress will be measured using special devices and questionnaires.
