First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 36 times

Summary

This study looked at whether mentally practicing jumps and landings (motor imagery) can help volleyball players avoid injuries. Thirty players aged 15-25 from professional teams took part. Over 12 weeks, researchers measured changes in how players moved when landing, focusing on hip, knee, and ankle angles. The goal was to see if this mental training could improve landing technique and reduce the risk of falls.
