First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study will test whether a structured, game-based exercise program can improve both brain function and physical skills in preschool children. About 110 kids aged 4 to 6 from kindergartens in Changsha, China, will take part. Some classes will receive motor-focused physical education three times a week for 16 weeks, while others continue with regular PE. Researchers will measure changes in motor skills and brain activity using portable EEG, aiming to understand how active play influences early development.
