First seen Mar 01, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tested whether a specially written motivational letter could encourage people who finished a 12-week heart rehab program to attend their one-year follow-up appointment. 102 adults took part; some received the letter about six months before their checkup, while others got usual care. Researchers then compared attendance and heart risk factors between the two groups.
