Scientists use wearable tech to 'See' heart failure through movement

NCT ID NCT03909919

Summary

This study aimed to see if wearable motion sensors and 3D cameras could be used to measure movement problems in older adults with heart failure. Researchers tested these tools on 34 participants, including both healthy individuals and those with heart failure, to see if they could reliably detect and measure the physical limitations caused by the condition. The goal was to develop a new, objective way to assess how much heart failure impacts a person's daily function.
