Summary
This study looked at whether 'mother-friendly' hospital practices—like avoiding unnecessary medical interventions and supporting natural birth—improve outcomes for mothers and babies. 281 healthy pregnant women participated. The results showed that these practices reduced labor pain and increased maternal satisfaction, with positive effects on newborn health too.
