Better C-Section pain relief? study tests two spinal morphine methods

NCT ID NCT07386353

Summary

This study aims to find the best way to deliver morphine for pain relief after planned cesarean sections. Researchers will compare pain control between morphine injected into the spinal fluid versus morphine injected into the epidural space near the spine. The trial involves 120 women having elective C-sections to see which method provides better pain relief with fewer side effects in the first 24-48 hours after surgery.
