First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a morphine gel applied to the skin can reduce pain from severe radiation burns (radiodermatitis) in the perineal area. Seventeen patients who were not getting enough relief from standard pain pills were included. The main goal was to see if pain decreased, stayed the same, or got worse after using the gel.
