Crisis in care: study probes why so many healthcare workers feel morally broken
NCT ID NCT06926296
Summary
This study aims to understand 'Moral Injury'—the distress healthcare workers feel when they cannot provide the care they believe is right due to system constraints. It will survey over 3,000 French healthcare professionals to identify the main causes and how this injury connects to burnout and quality of life. The goal is to gather evidence to create better workplace systems and policies, not to test a treatment.
