Caring for a loved one after stroke: study links sleep and mood to caregiver strain

NCT ID NCT07253519

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at how a caregiver's mood and sleep problems relate to the burden they feel when caring for a stroke patient. It will include 100 stroke patients and their primary caregivers. Caregivers will fill out questionnaires about their sleep, anxiety, depression, and how burdened they feel. The goal is to better understand these connections so that future support can be improved.
