Summary

This study tested a monthly injection called Mircera for people with chronic kidney disease who have anemia (low red blood cells) and are not yet on dialysis. 75 adults received the shot for 3 to 12 months. The goal was to see if it could safely raise and maintain hemoglobin levels. The treatment helped improve anemia, but patients need ongoing medication to manage the condition.
