Summary

This study tested a monthly injection called Mircera in 75 adults with chronic kidney disease and anemia who were not yet on dialysis. The goal was to see if the drug could safely raise and maintain healthy hemoglobin levels. Participants received shots under the skin for 3 to 12 months. The treatment aims to control anemia, not cure the underlying kidney disease.
