NCT ID NCT00661388

Summary

This study tested a monthly injection called Mircera to treat anemia (low red blood cells) in adults with kidney disease who were not yet on dialysis. The goal was to see if the injection could safely raise and keep patients' hemoglobin levels in a healthy target range. About 75 patients received the injection for up to a year to measure its effectiveness and safety.
