New monitor tracks hidden pressure during heart procedures
NCT ID NCT06876896
Summary
This study aims to understand how abdominal pressure changes during a heart procedure called pulsed field ablation, which treats irregular heartbeats. Researchers will use a special monitoring system to measure pressure in 50 adult patients receiving this treatment. They want to see if different types of anesthesia affect this pressure and whether monitoring it can help make the procedure safer.
