First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests a new blood test that looks for tiny molecules called miRNAs to detect a common virus (HCMV) earlier in people who have received a stem cell transplant. About 300 patients will give blood samples before and after transplant. The goal is to see if this new method catches the virus sooner than the current test, helping doctors treat it faster and reduce complications.
