Your phone could track your braces better than the dentist?

NCT ID NCT05780788

Summary

This small study tested whether photos taken by patients at home with a smartphone app could accurately measure tooth movement during braces treatment. Researchers compared these home scans to the detailed 3D scans taken in the dental office. The goal was to see if remote monitoring could be a reliable way to track orthodontic progress between visits.
