New study aims to save Moms' lives with innovative postpartum care program

Summary

This study tests a new program called MOMI PODS that provides extra medical and emotional support to new mothers after childbirth. The goal is to improve heart health, reduce depression and anxiety, and lower the risk of serious health problems. About 384 mother-baby pairs will take part, with half receiving the new program and half getting standard care. Researchers will track health changes over one year.
