First seen Mar 04, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tested a mind-body program called Amygdala Insula Retraining (AIR) for people with mold illness. 134 adults with confirmed mold illness used the program alongside their usual care. The goal was to see if brain retraining could improve overall wellness and heart rate variability, a measure of stress. The study compared the AIR group to those receiving only usual care.
