Summary
This study aims to find the best way to treat severe gum disease around back teeth (molars) to prevent tooth loss. It compares two approaches: non-surgical deep cleaning versus surgical procedures that reshape or rebuild bone. The trial will follow 59 patients for five years to see which treatment is more effective at keeping the tooth healthy and in place.
