New study aims to decode drug rash vs. disease worsening in rare skin cancers

Summary
This study looks at a common side effect—skin rash—caused by the drug mogamulizumab in people with mycosis fungoides or Sezary syndrome, two rare types of skin lymphoma. The rash can look like the cancer itself, which may lead doctors to stop treatment too early. Researchers will study 100 patients to learn how to tell the difference between the rash and worsening disease, helping doctors make better treatment decisions.
