First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This early-phase trial tests two drugs, mogamulizumab and brentuximab vedotin, given together to people with a rare type of skin lymphoma (CTCL or mycosis fungoides) that has not responded to prior treatment. The main goal is to see if the combination is safe and to find the best dose. Only 10 participants are enrolled, and the study is currently on hold.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
mogamulizumab and brentuximab vedotin
What this could lead to
If it works, this could point toward a new treatment option for people with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma who have already tried other therapies.
What could go wrong
This is a very early, small Phase 1 trial (only 10 people) focused on safety, not yet on effectiveness. The study is currently suspended, so results may be delayed or never come.
