This study looked at whether a tool called the Modified Rapid Emergency Medicine Score (mREMS) can accurately predict outcomes for people hurt in road traffic accidents. Researchers checked 292 patients in a Baghdad emergency room and tracked who survived, needed surgery, or stayed in the hospital longer. The goal was to see if this simple score works well in a real-world setting.
