First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study tests a modified periosteal inhibition (MPI) technique during immediate dental implant placement to see if it helps keep the jawbone stable. Thirty adults aged 20-50 with a non-restorable back tooth and thin buccal bone will be randomly assigned to receive either the MPI technique or the standard flapless approach. The main goal is to measure bone changes using 3D X-rays over time.
