Summary
This study tested a new 3D-printed mesh for repairing complex fractures around the eye socket and cheekbone. Twenty-four adults with these fractures received either the new mesh or standard metal plates and screws. The goal was to see if the new mesh led to better bone alignment and fewer complications like bruising or double vision.
